 These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Heirloom Family Recipes mobile application and related services ("Service") operated by Heirloom Family Recipes ("we," "our," or "us").By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

Heirloom Family Recipes is a mobile application that allows users to:

• Create and store family recipes
• Share recipes with family members
• Record voice notes and add photos to recipes
• Organize and search through recipe collections
• Collaborate with family members on recipe creation
• Access premium features through subscription plans

To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You retain ownership of any content you create, upload, or share through our Service, including recipes, photos, and voice recordings.

By uploading content to our Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Service.

You agree not to upload, create, or share content that:

We may offer a free trial period for premium features. Important terms regarding free trials:

• Free trials are available to new subscribers only
• You must provide valid payment information to start a free trial
• Your subscription will automatically begin at the end of the trial period unless cancelled
• You may cancel during the trial period to avoid being charged
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free trial offers at any time

By subscribing to our Service, you agree to the following billing terms:

• Payment Authorization: You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees associated with your subscription
• Billing Cycle: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, annually, or as otherwise specified)
• Payment Methods: We accept payment through the app store from which you downloaded our application (Apple App Store, Google Play Store)
• Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle
• Failed Payments: If payment fails, we may suspend or terminate your subscription until payment is received

Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date:

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period
• You will be charged the subscription fee for the next billing period
• You can cancel auto-renewal at any time through your device's app store settings
• Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

• How to Cancel: Cancel through your device's app store subscription settings
• Effective Date: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• Access: You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your paid period
• No Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods

Our refund policy is as follows:

• Refunds are subject to the terms and conditions of the app store from which you purchased the subscription
• We do not provide direct refunds for subscription fees
• In exceptional circumstances, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis
• Contact customer support for refund inquiries

You may change your subscription plan at any time:

• Upgrades take effect immediately, with prorated billing for the current period
• Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle
• Changes can be made through your device's app store settings

If your account is terminated for violation of these Terms:

• Your subscription will be cancelled immediately
• No refund will be provided for the remaining subscription period
• You will lose access to all premium features

You agree not to use our Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization
• Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or payment systems
• Share subscription access with unauthorized users

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Heirloom Family Recipes and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices regarding data collection, use, and sharing.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall Heirloom Family Recipes be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service or subscription.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your subscription will be cancelled and no refund will be provided.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association in the State of New York, United States.
